Flowers of Spring - Part 1

I have a beautiful Magnolia bush in my front garden and it is flowering so beautifully. It was very tiny when I first bought it, but over the years it has grown and spread and each year I love to see the buds form with the promise of these beautiful flowers.

How To Make a Man Feel Old!

David was devastated to receive the following in the post the other day.... it added 10 years!!!
(In case you can't read the small print, it's from 50Plus Insurance Services!!!)

'Oooops! (Lesson Learned!)

'Ooooops!!  Think we'd better make sure we strap the babies in from now on!

We discovered Jemima like this after walking to the car the other day.  We can no longer just leave them lying in the pushchair!  (which we've been able to do up until now).   Not sure whether it was her weight as we walked downhill, or her wriggling!!!

Tribulation.......

Found this scripture this week......

..... But we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope.

The Haircut!!!

David helped out a friend the other day by taking 3 of her children for haircuts.  When he returned home I notice that he'd had zig-zags shaved on to the side of his head!

When I commented on them (unfavourably... I must be boring!!) he said that he'd had them done 'cos "Adam had had them done"!!  I exclaimed that I hope his mother had been aware as she'd be a bit shocked .... especially as Adam was getting baptised in 4 days!!!!!

Needless to say... the mother was "shocked" to say the least!  To give him his due, David had completely forgotten about the baptism.. but nonetheless the story has become a topic of great jovial discussion around the Ward... don't think it will be forgotten in a hurry!  And I don't think David will be taking any more children for haircuts!

When the time comes for Oliver's baptismal haircut.........!!!???!!!

Easter Cards from Auntie Laura

The twins got Easter cards and pressies from their Auntie Laura this week.

They are starting to really love envelopes, and they go straight in their mouth! Oliver sucked and tore his way into his within about 3 minutes!!

Yum

The twins are really starting to enjoy their food.  Jemima gets so excited that she moves her head all over the place, making it difficult sometimes to get the spoon actually in her mouth first time round!!!

Oliver is a much less messy eater... he just smiles and opens his mouth wide!!!!

(And why is it that 80%+ of baby food is orange and leaves orange stains??!!??)

And this is Jemima when Daddy's finished feeding her a non orange food!!!!!

I got a Blog Award!! How Exciting!!!
