My Newest Cookery Book

You'll remember from the 'Tag' I did a little while back that Cookery Books is one of the things that makes me happy.  Well, here's my newest acquisition.... 

It contains the most gorgeous recipes - loads of different cupcakes... including banana/chocolate and pineapple/coconut; Cheesecakes, pies, brownies, cookies and more.  I especially like the look of the Raspberry Cheesecake Brownie!  

Every single recipe is one I want to try.  Mmmmmmm.... can't wait!

Advice for Life

I've posted so many pictures of the twins recently, that I thought I should do something else for a change.  I came across this quote when preparing my lesson last week - I though it was lovely.

Couldn't decide which was my favourite/the best, so I'm posting all 3.

Poor Daddy

David suffers with Hayfever, but so far this year has coped without having to take any medication. Not today however! He went out this morning for a few hours with a friend, and returned looking like this. (Though not so solemn - of course he had a smile on his face, cos he was coming home to me!!)



So, I left him on the sofa, cold flannel over his eyes, and took the twins to the Pharmacy, armed with the above picture. She recommended some tablets and I also asked for some eye drops. The Pharmacist informed me that SO MANY people had been in today with similar problems. Obviously one of those days... unfortunately a downside to the good weather.

UPDATE: 3 hours post medication and puffiness all gone... phew... Don't want people thinking I beat him up!!!

At the Beach with Daddy - The Piggyback!

We went to the beach the other day.... and the twins had fun paddling and playing in the sand pit. Here's a quick video of Daddy giving the twins a running piggy back across the sand.

The Shoe Fetish Continues!

I went with my friend the other day to buy her daughter a new pair of school shoes!! I took the twins with me..... this was a mistake!! As you are aware, the twins like shoes (especially Oliver) and Oliver got VERY excited!! He grabbed at whatever pairs of shoes he could reach as we wheeled past the shelves. He found one particular pair... about 4 sizes to big for him, in white satin with sparkly bits.... in the girls department!! He grabbed them off the shelf and demanded they be put on his feet.

Mimi also has some cute little pink ones on, (Mummy picked these ones out!).

When we took them off he cried so much we had to let him wear my friend's daughters pink sequin shoes! He also cried when we took those ones off.

We find it rather funny, but should I be pandering to this shoe fetish?

Hello and Goodbye!!!

A brief video of the twins .... for some reason they wouldn't say anything... a tad camera shy?! I know I talk about the state of their faces... they had stuff all over them, but it doesn't show up on the video!!

I love their smiles... they brighten my day!
