A Wish for the New Year

I recently found this in my posting list saved as a "Draft"! I'm not quite sure why it never got published... but is it as relevant today as it was last year when I initially drafted it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!

Busy times...

Life has been so hectic over the past few months. Dad was admitted to hospital at the beginning of October, and has been in ever since. Falling over in hospital and breaking his hip haven't helped his recovery!

Dad is still in hospital... he has been moved to a rehabilition unit. Though the ultimate aim would be to have him back home with us, this is looking less and less likely. His demential seems to have set in especially since he has been in hospital.

I have also taken part in a 10 week photography course... although only 2 hours a week, the work I do between classes takes a bit of time too. I'm loving the course.... and hope to take part in the advanced course in the new year.

In addition I have been asked to take the photographs at two weddings over the past couple of months. It's been a great responsibility, but I've also loved the challenge and hope that the couples are pleased with their pictures. I hope my photography skills can continue to grow in the next few months and years.
