Sickness - continued....

We went to visit some friends in Cornwall at the weekend. (After checking with the Doctor it was OK to travel with the sick babies!!!).

This was Mimi on Saturday in MacDonalds... she was asleep in the car and didn't wake up when I took her out. (Just after a paracetamol dose). I cuddled her for a while, and then I put her in the seat thinking she'd wake up.. but then I had to support her head for 10-15 minutes 'til she did wake up!!!

Sick and Ill

We've all been ill for the past 2-3 weeks. First it was some sort of sickness (etc.!) bug, which the Doctor put on David's sick certificate as 'Viral Gastroenteritis'... and then we all got a chesty/wheezy/snotty cold thing, which seems to be horribly lingering.

Autumn at Buckingham Palace

Can you believe this is in Central London!?!?  This picture is courtesy of my sister Diane, who recently visited Buckingham Palace with some friends... I just love this picture... It's Autumn epitomised.   (And you know how I love Autumn!)

Where do they go...?

...Socks!!!?  This was my washing line the other day..... I now have copious amounts of washing, and I fear it will only get even larger.  But one question I must ask is... why oh why do socks lose their other halves.. even here on the line I can even see at least 3 odd socks... where oh where do they go... any other people have this problem.... or does anyone know the answer?

I found an article in the newsaper the other day which stated that... chocolate (in moderation of course) can be good for you!  HURRAH.  It made my day.  (Click on title to link to an article telling you all about it!!)

Streets Of London

On the way to my in-laws the other day I parked up in a little side street near Camden Town and just had to take a picture... I loved the colours of all these great little houses... if I had to live in London... I could live in one of these houses.... now... what colour shall I pick...............?

Jiggles and Wiggles and Nursery Rhymes

The babies love music, and jiggle and bop around wherever and whenever music is on.  Oliver especially likes "Sweet About Me" by Gabriella Cilmi and I even caught him jiggling to it in the shopping trolley in the Supermarket the other day (it should be playing while you read this!).

They also like nursery rhymes however, and we sing them lots of different nursery rhymes. Their absolute fabourite is The Grand Old Duke of York This particular nursery rhyme has amazing powers ... it will calm them, stop them crying, and even send them to sleep... All we have to do is say "Ohhhhhhh Thhhhheeeeeeee....." and they know what's coming and will immediately calm down in anticipation.

Mimi and Ollie - Adventurers!!!

Took this video the other day! Oliver had been trying to climb up on the sofa... something which Jemima has no problem doing... but couldn't quite make it - he kept sliding off, which was very funny, but when I turned the video on to get it, this is what I got. Guess my daughter isn't camera shy!!!

Autumn Flowers

Autumn is Almost Here

You know that Autumn is my favourite time of year...  so I'm starting to get excited!  The leaves on the trees are starting to turn, and I have a few particular favourite trees round the corner from where I live.. and they are starting to go the most amazing colours.

Every year... I look out for when these trees start to change.. and that's when I know Autumn is coming!  

We went to Leeds Castle last week and took a few pics.  Everything is just starting to turn!  

Daddy bought the twins their very own matching Leeds Castle Teddy Bears... which they love!! Even a few days later they got very excited when Daddy brought them out!  

I hope to go again this week for the Autumn Gold Festival.  The trees will have changed a bit more by then... and there are going to be loads of extra flower arrangements around the castle as well.  I am quite excited.  We are so lucky to live so near to the Castle.  When you buy a ticket, it then lasts a year... so we are really able to get our money's worth.  Our current ticket expires in the middle of November - so I hope to get a few more visits in between now and then... will try not to bore you with pictures every time!!
