Waiting for Daddy

We went for a walk the other day to meet Daddy from the train on the way home from work. It was a scorching hot day, but we found a nice little shaded bench where they had their food and a little snooze.

Trip to Ireland

Last weekend I went and visited Northern Ireland with my friend Nikki.

We had a great time and were really lucky with some great weather.

It was a quick visit, but we crammed so much in. Here are a few pictures.... enjoy!!

I am Soooo excited!!!

I have just discovered, from my friend Janyi's blog, that they have made a sequel to the The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants... imaginatively entitled Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2!!!

The original film has got to be one of my favourite films of all time, and like Jayni I was soooo excited to hear of this sequel.  It would seem that it's being released at the beginning of August in the US, but I have heard nothing about it over here... I am now going to have to research more and find out when it's released here.... will update when I find out when.

If you haven't seen the original.... I highly recommend it.  I continue to be VERY excited!   SORRY!

The Day Before Their Birthday!!!

Oliver and Jemima are ONE!!!

I CANNOT believe the twins are ONE !!  It's been a few days since their birthday... but I have been soooo busy that I haven't been able to finish composing this post.

We had family and a few friends over on the day and had a barbecue... fortunately the weather held ok... and we had a lovely day.

I managed to take a picture of the middle picture (below) when at David's parents last week. This is the one and only baby picture of David I have ever seen!



I used to think Oliver looked more like him, but last week I started seeing more of Jemima!  What do you think???

4 July - Uncle Rama's Birthday

We went to see David's family last week as it was his brother, Rama's, birthday.  We went out for a nice meal and the babies tried Duck and Potato Dauphinoise for the first time!!! They enjoyed it very much... and especially loved the ice-cream for dessert!!

Grandpa's Birthday.

It was Grandpa's Birthday last Friday!  

Diane came home for the weekend,

....... along with our friend Bill from Canada,




and we all went out with Mum and Dad, to THE GRAND in Folkestone, for tea. 

The babies enjoyed their sandwiches in their high chairs... and Jemima particularly enjoyed her chocolate!!

.....a good time was had by all. 

Choices and Decisions (A game for the car!)

A popular travelling game that I play is 'Choices and Decisions' .  You take it in turns to go round the car and give two choices/preferences for people to make... and then the rest of the car have to make their decision .. .the premise being that you can only ever have one or the other in the future, and you have to decide what you would rather have.   Some examples of choices are:-

Beef or Pork - Pork

Trees or Flowers - Trees

Chocolate or Fruit - Fruit

Summer or Spring - Spring

Christmas or Birthday - Christmas

etc. etc. 

(My choices are in green)

Have a go... it's fun... and very difficult some times.  I'm not good at making decisions.. and my sister's ever worse... so it's fun when you play it with us..... NOT!!!

(Just remember... it's only a game!  Fortunately you'll never have to make such decisions in real life... hopefully).

Summer Flowers at Leeds Castle

I paid yet another couple of visits to Leeds Castle this week... wow.... the flowers were absolutely fabulous.  They have a Knot Garden (The Culpeper Garden) there... which is amazing... full of beautiful flowers. Here's just a small selection of the pictures I got!
