Those who know me will know that SPORT, per se, is not a favourite thing of mine! I'm not someone who loves to watch it, and will, in fact, often go to great lengths to avoid it.
HOWEVER..... for some reason, the Olympics have a strange effect upon me. I LOVE THEM!!!
I think it must be to do with the multi national, non-political (hopefully), unity of them. Strangely, I normally shed a tear or two duirng the opening and closing ceremonies.
I have so been looking forward to these Olympics, and am really excited about the 2012 Olympics being in the UK. I really hope I get to go see some of the actual events then.
